In Loving Memory of Nicos A. Hadjipanteli October 23, 1957 – July 20, 2026

Nicos Aristidou Hadjipanteli, a devoted husband, father, brother, respected Certified Public Accountant, and cherished member of the Annapolis and Baltimore communities, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Nicos was born on October 23, 1957, in Yialousa, Cyprus, to Aristides Hadjipanteli and Kyriaki Vasiliou Hadjipanteli. He helped his father Aristides, a tobacco merchant, with their family business in Yialousa. At the age of 12, Nicos left Yialousa and moved to Nicosia to continue his education. In Nicosia, he attended the Pancyprian Gymnasium and later Neokleous Economic Lyceum. During these years, Nicos worked while attending school at Technoplastics during the evenings. On weekends, he worked at Eleon Pool & Café at Metochi Kykkou in Engomi. At the age of 18, he was drafted into the Army. In August 1977, he was reunited with his parents, who had been displaced from Yialousa following the 1974 invasion. After completing his military service, Nicos came to the United States on December 18, 1978, as a foreign student to attend the New York Institute of Technology. Nicos graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1982, earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting. He continued his graduate education at the University of Baltimore, where he received a Master's degree in Taxation in 1985. Nicos was a Certified Public Accountant for more than 40 years and owned and operated his tax practice in Greektown, Baltimore. Throughout his career, he served individuals, families, and businesses with integrity and professionalism. He was a faithful member of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. Nicos is survived by his beloved wife, Christina Christou Hadjipanteli, with whom he shared 34 years of marriage; his children, Eleni Hadjipanteli and Aristides Hadjipanteli; his brothers, Ioannis Hadjipanteli and Theodosis Hadjipanteli; his sister, Androulla Phoka; and his five nieces and five nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Savvas Hadjipanteli and his parents. His legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched. Friends are invited to celebrate Nicos's life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Sunday, July 26 from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral service will be held at Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2747 Riva Rd, Annapolis, MD on Monday at 11 am. Interment will follow at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Cemetery in Annapolis.
