Marjorie Alice Macchiaroli - Obituary

arjorie Alice Macchiaroli, 86, a twenty-five year resident of Edgewater, MD and previously of Ft. Washington, died of natural causes on Thursday, May 2 in Ft. Myers, FL. Born on October 17, 1937 in Washington, DC to the late Reuben C. and Alice A. Krueger, Marjorie was a graduate of Oxon Hill High School. Following graduation, she worked as a secretary at the Naval Research Laboratory and at Bolling Air Force Base. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, playing the piano, reading, her pets and she especially liked attending her grandson, Charlie’s, sporting events. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, Carmine S. Macchiaroli and her siblings, Juan Krueger and Carol Bucher. She is survived by her children, Richard C. Macchiaroli of Cape Coral, FL and Sharon K. Winegardner of Lothian, MD and her grandson, Charles R. Winegardner. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Marjorie's life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Saturday, May 18, from 11:30 am until her funeral service begins at 1 pm.
