Im going to miss Verna. I got to know her in her later years through my place of employment. I also remember her when she worked at the AAMC Hospital. Verna was a beautiful and feisty lady...I loved her spirit for life and her independent outlook on things. She was beautiful.

Grams, your we’re the model woman of every era!! You showed up to every event to oooohs & awhhhs!! Your sense of style surpassed all!! And the way you aged so ever gracefully was amazing!! You put your heart & soul into all those you cared for!! Ladies like that are hard to come by these days!! You were tough, stern, and stubborn, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! May you find peace up above by reuniting with your beautiful daughter, your husband, and mother. As you always signed our cards with XOXOXO!! It was an honor to have been a part of your life and thanks for all your help!!

I could not agree with you more my dear....she was (how I knew her) feisty! You are also correct when you say, "Ladies like that are hard to come by." ..she will be sorely missed. Please tell Paula Hey for me as well...! We are looking forward to the resurrection of our loved ones....Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29; and Revelations 21:3-5...promises from our Creator and shown on a small scale by his son Jesus Christ. Jesus too was resurrected after his death...what a wonderful hope to see come true in the VERY NEAR future.

My dearest Aunt Vern, I will always remember you as the epitome of feminine beauty, elegance and charm. You taught me at a very young age the importance of showing respect for others thus we receive respect. I will remember your smile and laughter which was always warming. I will meet you someday in heaven where I know there will be no need for you to organize anything!
I will carry fond memories of you and hold you close in my heart. Godspeed.
