Rudy was always one of my beloved Agents in DEA as he entered his DEA service in my enforcement group in Dallas, Texas. It was a joy to hear the enthusiasm in his voice each day. I haven't totally forgiven him for giving me my first jalapeno pepper on surveillance one night after telling me it was not hot. He always displayed a caring and helpful spirit as he approached each day. He was with me in Austin, Texas when I was shot at 25 times; a Friday the 13th night I am sure he never forgot. (that event is in the book I wrote: FDA to DEA, Blessed, so help me God. My love and prayers go out to his family and loved ones. I am sure everyone loved and appreciated him as I did. Gary L Gibson retired, DEA

Rudy and I worked together in Dallas, Costa Rica and Hqs. Our adventures and memories would fill a book. Rudy was primarily responsible for my joining BNDD, predecessor of DEA. His brother, Armando, was also a co-worker and a
friend. Their Dad was very close to my Dad. I am very saddened by this event and covey my most sincere condolences to Minnie and the boys. May he rest in peace. Eloy Garcia, Demi John Ranch.
