Jack’s second career in life was with John Sharper Florist as a Flower Delivery Driver. He enjoyed putting a smile on everyone’s face when delivering flowers. He was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church since the age of 8 years old. As a young boy, he would ride his horse to church service. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife, Frances. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, attending car racing events, traveling to Chincoteague Island to see the horses swim over and the horse auction, going to Ocean City, MD on vacation, traveling with his wife on vacations and to see family. Jack’s positive inspiration, words of wisdom, laughter, kind heart, and joy was contagious. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his three loving children, Larry Latimer (Lori) of Elkridge, MD; Jerry Latimer of Prince Frederick, MD; Elaine Wingo (Danny) of Spruce Pine, AL; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anna Frances Latimer (Kerr); his brother, William Latimer; his sister Evelyn Meyers (Latimer); his daughter in law, Gladys Latimer; his grandson, James Michael Ramber; his great-granddaughter, Christina Aloupis.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend viewing times at Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD on Friday, December 6th during the hours of 2-4pm or 7-9pm.
