Biography

On January 5, Andrew J. Beyerlein, Jr., a 27 year resident of Riva died at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness. Born September 11, 1929 in Baltimore, Andrew graduated from Annapolis High School then became manager of AT&T, where he worked for 40 years. He served his country and was honorably discharged from the Army. Andrew was a member of the Pioneer Club, enjoyed woodworking, gardening, playing the organ and was always helping family and friends.
He is preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Anne Emert.
Andrew is survived by his wife of 16 years, Shirley Beyerlein; three sons, Andrew Beyerlein, III of Davidsonville, Ronald and Richard Beyerlein of Annapolis; one daughter, Linda Tolliver of Annapolis; two sisters, Margaret Foster of Edgewater and Nancy Hall of Mayo; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to Andrew's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater on Wednesday, January 9 from 11AM-1PM.
