My deepest sympathies for your loss.
I had the priviledge to meet Mr. Whidden in the mid 1990's: he definately left his mark as being a true gentleman and a professional in his field of expertise. I am deeply saddened by this loss.

The essence Glenn is not gone. He left some of himself within everyone he knew.
All of us were influenced by one or more of his exceptional qualities: his kindness, generosity, knowledge, ethics, friendship, loyalty, inquisitiveness, patriotism, spirituality, love of invention, and his dedication to do good and make a positive difference in this world (to name a few).
I know I am a much better human being for knowing Glenn. If you knew Glenn, I am sure you feel the same way.
Glenn is now within all the lives he touched, and we will pass his goodness along, as he did for us.
Thank you, Glenn, for the big difference you made in my life, and the lives of so many others.

Glenn was one of my heroes. He was one my mentors in the TSCM field. He was a great American. I will always have valuable and unforgetable memories of the brief time I spent with him.
I had the pleasure of meeting Glenn in the early 80's and considered him both a friend and mentor. Glenn was an inspiration to many of his friends and colleagues and his memory will always be one of deep respect and friendship. Glenn, we will miss you and always remember your contributions. Rest in Peace my friend.
God Speed, Glenn!
It's been an honor to know you and to be able to call you my friend.
Glenn held a high standard in everything he did, and did everything with love.
A gentleman, A scholar, A friend and A leader in our field.
God go with you, glenn. You will be remembered as long as there are people who do TSCM
I did not know Glenn personally but knew his great reputation and some of his history. You were well respected and and your name shall live on forever.
My condolences to the family and God Speed Glenn.
Glenn was a consummate professional, a patriot. a truly bright spirit, and surely one of the finest gentlemen ever to pass this way. The country -- and particularly its intelligence and security communities to which he contributed hard work, great wisdom and selfless devotion -- is poorer for his loss. May he rest in peace. His memory will live on.
I am so grateful to have known such an honorable man. I am still able to vision his smile and kind words the very last time we talked. He will always be in my heart and a part of my memory lasting forever.
Please watch over us as we do our work my friend. There will be a day when we all meet up again.

A man who inspired all and taught many. Glenn will be truly missed both as a friend and mentor. Our many chats and his advice to me will be eternally treasured. The counter-espionage world is better for having known him. Rest in peace, my friend.
A great mentor.
Glenn was a friend of only about 12 years however we both worked at the agency at the same time Glenn in Tech Services and I in Commo, our paths crossed only once while at work in Warrenton,Va as he tried to show some inept communicators what to listen for while overseas on assignment. Glenn was a staunch member of the "Old School" of which I was also a student of. Glenn helped me along in the early eighties and nineties when I got more involved in to the TSCM business, he will and is indeed missed by me and many others.
Glenn was a gentleman and true professional. His wisdom and kindness was an inspiration to all his friends at ERI.
I had the opportunity to know Glenn and can tell you that he did his part to make the world a better place.
I've known Glenn for over 20 years within the TSCM field. I greatly appriciated his teaching, willingness to listen and advise. He will be missed.
My condolances to his family and friends.
