I had the priviledge to meet Mr. Whidden in the mid 1990's: he definately left his mark as being a true gentleman and a professional in his field of expertise. I am deeply saddened by this loss.

The essence Glenn is not gone. He left some of himself within everyone he knew.

All of us were influenced by one or more of his exceptional qualities: his kindness, generosity, knowledge, ethics, friendship, loyalty, inquisitiveness, patriotism, spirituality, love of invention, and his dedication to do good and make a positive difference in this world (to name a few).

I know I am a much better human being for knowing Glenn. If you knew Glenn, I am sure you feel the same way.

Glenn is now within all the lives he touched, and we will pass his goodness along, as he did for us.

Thank you, Glenn, for the big difference you made in my life, and the lives of so many others.

Kevin D. Murray

Glenn was a consummate professional, a patriot. a truly bright spirit, and surely one of the finest gentlemen ever to pass this way. The country -- and particularly its intelligence and security communities to which he contributed hard work, great wisdom and selfless devotion -- is poorer for his loss. May he rest in peace. His memory will live on.

Glenn was a friend of only about 12 years however we both worked at the agency at the same time Glenn in Tech Services and I in Commo, our paths crossed only once while at work in Warrenton,Va as he tried to show some inept communicators what to listen for while overseas on assignment. Glenn was a staunch member of the "Old School" of which I was also a student of. Glenn helped me along in the early eighties and nineties when I got more involved in to the TSCM business, he will and is indeed missed by me and many others.
