On Tuesday, September 20, 2011. She is survived by six nieces, one nephew, two great-nieces, eight great-nephews, two great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Edith's Life Celebration Thursday, September 22 at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD from 7 to 9pm and on Friday, September 23 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 6th & E Sts., SW, Washington, DC 20024. Interment private. The family request in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to the charity of ones choice.
