Winifred “Winnie” B. Turner (Age 91)
On Thursday, June 2, 2011, she died peacefully at the South River Health & Rehab. Center in Edgewater, MD. A 50 year resident of Baden, MD, she was the devoted wife of the late Jesse Turner; loving mother of Patricia Pounds; grandmother of Michael and Kevin Pounds and the sister of Ronald Brooks and the late Elizabeth “Betty” Smith. Friends are invited to Winnie’s Life Celebration on Sunday from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Funeral services will he held on Monday, June 6 at 11am at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 13500 Baden Westwood Road, Brandywine, MD with interment in the church cemetery.
