Biography

John Andrew Granger, 47, a 37-year resident of Edgewater and previously of Denver, CO, died on Saturday, July 17, 2010. Born June 21, 1963 in Bakersfield, CA to Helen A. Correll Granger and the late William A. Granger, he was a 1981 graduate of South River High School. John was an owner/operator of Eastern Petroleum for seven years, and previously worked with Hardesty and Sons. He enjoyed model trains and riding his Harley Davidson.

In addition to his mother, John is survived by his fiancee, Christie Jones, his daughter, Katlyn Evans, and his brother, Bill Granger, all of Edgewater.

Friends are invited to John's Life Celebration on Wednesday, July 21, from 5 until 8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 22, at 11am. Interment private.
