I guess this is not really a story, but more of personal feeling.
I wrote the date of 1982 because I think that is when I first met Denney.
All of my memories of Denney involve his soothing voice and his infectious laughter. I can't remember ever being around him when he didn't make you feel at ease and welcome. I think his voice will always stay in my memory. The way he was so at ease and easy to be around... I don't know how else to say it. His laughter and smile just exemplify the man he was. One of a kind.
